Terms of Service — CAMEL: Crossfigure Math Puzzle
Last updated: July 15, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CAMEL: Crossfigure Math Puzzle (“CAMEL”, “the App”), developed and operated by Daonsu (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
CAMEL is a mobile puzzle game combining crossword-style grids with number-theory clues. Some content and features are free; others may require an optional subscription or one-time purchase once in-app purchases are enabled (see §5).
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the App. The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (see our Privacy Policy §6).
3. Accounts
- You may use the App anonymously, or create an account via Google Sign-In to unlock cloud sync and leaderboards.
- You are responsible for any activity under your account. Notify us at camelgameapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including for leaderboard score manipulation, abuse of other users, or attempts to reverse-engineer or tamper with the App.
4. License and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract puzzle solutions or source code from the App beyond what applicable law expressly permits;
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to play, solve puzzles, or submit scores;
- Manipulate leaderboard scores, achievements, or in-app currency by any means other than normal gameplay;
- Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users, including in any future community/puzzle-sharing features;
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
We may remove content, suspend access, or terminate your account for violations of this section.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases (subscriptions, hint-token packs, pack unlocks) are built into the App but not yet enabled at the time of writing. Once enabled:
- Purchases are billed through Google Play (or the Apple App Store, if released on iOS) and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.
- Subscriptions, where offered, renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel a subscription through your Play Store / App Store account settings.
- Consumable purchases (e.g. hint tokens) are not refundable except as required by law or store policy.
- We will update these Terms with concrete pricing/product details before purchases go live for any user.
6. User-generated content (planned, not yet available)
A future version of the App may let users create and share puzzles (“community puzzles”) and comment on or rate others’ puzzles. When that feature ships:
- You will retain ownership of puzzles you create, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute them within the App.
- You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate these Terms or third-party rights.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts for content that is abusive, infringing, or otherwise violates these Terms, including via the flagging/moderation process described in the App.
This section will be revised with the actual feature’s specifics before it launches.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, puzzles, clue text, and software, is owned by Daonsu and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license in §4, no rights are granted to you.
8. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services (Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, and — once enabled — Google AdMob and RevenueCat) described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services’ underlying platforms (e.g. your Google account, the Play Store) is also subject to their own terms.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that puzzle difficulty ratings will always be precisely calibrated.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App evolves (e.g. before enabling purchases or community features). We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. §7, §9, §10) will survive.
